Alec Gore, "The Thinking Motorcyclist"

He is particularly interested in the psychology of motorcycle riding - the thinking motorcyclist. He therefore has the experience and skills to have you deal with deep-rooted issues, e.g. hang-ups from previous experiences or limiting decisions that you might have made about your own abilities, that may be affecting you riding to an advanced level.
He is also qualified in teaching adults; it's not just about the riding, it's how to effectively pass that on to others and that's an area in which Alec excels.

It was because of Hong Kong's demanding and congested environment that such high standards of slow riding were expected of it's police riders.
has toured New Zealand's wonderful motorcycling roads with GoTourNZ. Alec was educated in the UK at Maidstone School for Boys (now Oakwood Park Grammar School) and Oxford Polytechnic (now Oxford Brookes University). He has worked with people's personal crises since 1982, often in very demanding circumstances, with an earlier career in police work where he developed his interest in and studied psychology.
He is a Certified Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), through the training of the The International Institute for Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology and Hypnosis and Neuro-Energetics - John Overdurf, CAC, CMH and Julie Silverthorn, MS, CMH.
Reading M. Scott Peck's, The Road Less Travelled, he could identify with training being more than just a knowledge of theory and the application of clever techniques. There is discipline, love, grace and the evolution of the person towards wholeness.
Alec lived and worked in Hong Kong for 16 years from 1988 - a unique window through which to see the pressures and experiences in people's lives. In 1995 he established his own practice, THE ROAD Counselling and Personal Development, seeing clients for counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, conducting personal breakthroughs and NLP Certified Practitioner Training. He's been featured in newspaper and appeared on live radio, in Hong Kong and the UK.
